QIDI ASA-CF20 Core
Industrial-Grade Durability for Extreme Outdoor Environments.
"Skin-Core" Co-Extrusion Technology
Our Co-Extrusion Technology eliminates the "fiber barrier" while packing a high-density CF core. Get the extreme stiffness of carbon fiber without the traditional Z-axis fragility.
Superior UV Resistance
Engineered for the outdoors. ASA is 10x more weather-resistant than ABS, making it the gold standard for automotive and marine applications.
Minimal Nozzle Wear
The pure resin skin acts as a lubricant, protecting your Hardened Steel nozzles from premature abrasion compared to "naked" CF filaments.
Superior Surface Quality
ASA-CF20 Core’s Skin-Core technology encases the carbon fiber core in a pure ASA skin. This eliminates "floating fibers," creating a professional bright matte finish while significantly reducing skin irritation from exposed fibers.
Printing Tips
-
Energy-Efficient Printing Thanks to its higher fiber content compared to standard ASA-CF materials, ASA-CF20 Core offers superior anti-warping properties and enhanced rigidity. This stability allows you to moderately lower the chamber temperature during printing to achieve energy savings without compromising part quality.
-
Drying Recommendations ASA is sensitive to moisture. If the filament has been exposed to air for an extended period and you notice print quality issues—such as bubbles, stringing, or oozing—please dry the filament at 60-70°C for 4-6 hours before use.
-
Ventilation When printing with ASA materials, it is highly recommended to place the printer in a well-ventilated environment to ensure proper air circulation.
-
Maintaining Surface Quality (Skin-Core Tech) ASA-CF20 Core utilizes a unique "Skin-Core" structure based on laminar flow principles. This dual-layer structure remains intact during extrusion under stable flow conditions. However, excessive printing speeds can cause turbulent flow, disrupting this structure and resulting in a rough surface finish. If this occurs, please increase the printing temperature or reduce the extrusion speed.

Hardware Requirements
-
Nozzle: Use Phaetus Hardened Steel or higher-grade abrasion-resistant nozzles to prevent wear from the 20% carbon fiber core.

Vacuum Aluminum Foil Packaging
According to the test, the water vapor transmission rate of ordinary sealed packaging is 4.76%, while the water vapor transmission rate of vacuum aluminum foil packaging we use is only 0.014%. It can be seen that vacuum aluminum foil packaging is more water-resistant.
